The Two Chairperson Candidates

Europe United Senators have now choice between two candidates, Ivan Gomez and Brigit McCone. The candidates have until 5th July midnight to convince their fellow senators to give their votes.

Getting organised, internal democracy and responsiveness to new political events are the key issues in the elections.

Ivan Gomez proposes more structured Senate: "I think it is essential that any candidate aspiring to become the chairperson must have a clear, easy-to-follow agenda." Mr. Gomez is committed to create a charter of the senate, establish committees and appoint secretary.

Miss McCone is focussing on making of daily politics: "I would like our party to be flexible, adaptable and able to respond to any new political events or crises with clarity and great policies. The role of the Senate in formulating those policies is key in this, and I hope to do everything possible to facilitate debates."

Senator can vote now, the absolute deadline being 5th July midnight.
