Member quotes July 11th

Akin Unver: In short, if you are to establish a Kurdistan, many of the Kurds will reject the very idea of it. Instead, you might ask for the creation of a 'Krmanjistan', 'Zazanstan' within which different Kurdish ethnos could live seperately.

Ben Singleton: May I just say how pleased I am with the current handling by the international community of North Korea since they let loose missiles on the 4th of July. If only Iran had been handled in this more cautious manner we wouldn't have such a problem. On a negative note, I must unfortunately put this difference not down to a sudden wave of rationality upon the world's leaders but simply because North Korea doesn't have oil.

Allan Deering: So you don't feel there is any obligation to defend European citizens or intervene in a genocide, for example? Europeans need to escape the idea that power = bad. Lack of power can be much, much worse than any mild abuses of power that the hyper pacifist European public might consent to.
